I was going to see my nephew for the first time that day. He was coming to Armenia. He was a sweet-sweet baby. He used to call himself a babe. When he got hungry, he said:
“The babe is hungry.”
He liked cars very much; he called them dudu.
“Grandpa Vahag, do you have a dudu?” he often asked my dad.
“I don’t like Poghos, I like the dudu,” said my nephew when my brother Poghos took him to the car.

“About Myself” (About Myself)

Do you know who I am? No? Let’s get acquainted. I’m Astghik. I like the colours blue, yellow, and white very much. Of all the seasons summer is my favourite because I don’t go to school. My favorite subject is Physical Education. My favorite food is potatoes. I like my geography and biology teachers very much. When I’m free I watch the clouds and create images in my mind. But most of all, I like to give orders and when people don’t obey them I get angry. Like everybody, I have drawbacks too, but I’m very kind. I am very susceptible. I get hurt from the people who get hurt from me. I’m very interested in everything. I’m not satisfied until I accomplish my goals. I don’t like it when they send me shopping. I don’t like to lie and to be lied to, but I don’t think there is a human who hasn’t lied.

“True Confession” (The school)

My classmate Jirayr was not ready for the geography lesson and the teacher asked him that day.
“Miss Vardanyan, I am not ready.”
“What? Aren’t you ready?”
And saying this she came up to Jirayr, turned his head twice and he appeared on the last desk.
I wasn’t ready either, but I preferred to keep silence.
