“Confession”

Confession

“I love her very much. I love her eyes, her hair …. I meet her every day, she is my classmate. If she is abcent for the classes, I don't sleep at nights. I'm speaking with her every day. I always call her and ask about different things. She also calls me, but if I don't hear her voice just for a day I don't sleep at night. She is the buity of our classroom…”
I read all this from David's exercise-book, which he never shows to anybody. But he shwed it to me.
He has copied it from the Karo's diary.

“Repeating story”

Repeating story

“What's going on Sargis” asked Gor.
“I had a lot to tell” said Sargis.
Sargis told Gor that he would tell about it in another place, because it's a secret.
Later Sargis told Gor that he had fel in love again.
He said that the girl is tall, beautiful and blonde.
Mush heard about it and said that he doesn't like blonde girls.
Sargis got angry with Mush cause he was in love.
Gor told that Sargis would forget about it after two days, but Sargis told that this one is a true love.
Gor didn't understand him. Sargis said that Gor is still a child to understand such kind of things. He also thought that he will probably merry her. He said that his life is nothing without her.
Sargis was repeating this words the whole day.
Next day he called me again.
He said, “Gor, I'm in love again, but this time I'm in love with her sister. You just can imagine she is tall, blonde, with green eyes and I will really merry her, I can't live without her...”

“A conversation with no time”

A conversation with no time

The teacher said, “You are now in the 7 th form, It's time to fell in love. What are you laughing at Armine and Ella?”
I told her that we are not laughing. Armine told Ella that the teacher is speaking about it since 5 th form and that they are tired of listening the same thing all the time. She said, “I wonder what is she going to talk about on the 8 th form?”
We could hardly spend that lesson. The next lesson was Russian language, when I opened the book there was also written about love.
When we told the lesson, this teacher started to talk about the love too.
I thought, “What is this like everyone is talking about love?”
It was really boring for me and I was almost sleeping when suddenly teacher started to praise me, I woke up and noticed that everyone is looking at me.
Well, I don't know why I wrote all this, I guess I am trying to say that all my classmates aren't enough grown-up to fell in love. No one is in love and It's boring for us when teachers are talking about love.

“A Destinty Mistake”

A Destinty Mistake

The school life is like the village life. When something happens at school on the next day the whole school is discussing that problem. Just like the village life, the girls from the parallel classrooms were speaking about the boys.
Once when I was talking with one of our girls, the girls in the next classroom were discussing our future life. After some minutes I entered the classroom and I heard, “Hey Dav I told you several times that Knarik is my girlfriend.” I didn't manage to answer when Harut said, “Hey Dav what kind of girl is she like?”
I said, “Who do you mean?” He answered “Knarik”
I told him that I have nothing with Knarik. He answered, “Then why were you talking to Knarik separate with other girls?”
I understood that my classmates had already married me with Knarik, though I only wanted to ask about the task for the lesson.
Some days later my teacher told me not to bother Knarik.
I got very angry and cried that I hate her. My teacher was surprised, and I thought that this will be the end of this story, though it was only the beginning.
My classmates were asking me strange questions and were interested when they will be invited to our party. Anyway this is still going on today. A fat book can be written about that kind of stories at my school.

“Basic reason”

Basic reason

On the day of my brother's christen, me and my christen father's daughter whose name is Tsovo, went to the Ayrudzi. Everyone knows that she is my sister.
One day some boys came to me and said, “Hey body, our friend is crying.”
I didn't pay attention and continued to comb the hair of the horse.
I said, “I don't care.”
They replied, “Hey don't you know that he has fell in love with your sister, do something to help your sister to become his girlfriend.”
I laughed and told them that I'll think about it.
Later Tsovo came and said, “Dav did you know that Arman is in love with me?”
Dav got angry an replied that he is tired of listening it all the time. Then he went to the Arman's room and saw that he is really crying. He knew that Tsovo would never love him. I told Arman that she only likes to play now, when he heard it he began to cry stronger than before. Let him cry now in real.

“A banned fruit”

This is the first year that I fell in love, because my mother had forbidden me to fell in love till this year. To tell the truth she has forbidden me to fell in love until I become a grown-up girl, but I couldn’t take it any more and fell in love. It lasts only one semester, because he went to another school. The rest of the boys were smoking and probably drinking alcohol too.

“Arevik”

Finally came the day when I should go to visit my horse.
I havn't been here for such a long time that I ran to see my horse immediately. My horse's name is Arevik. I love her very much. Everyone loves that horse. Besides she was from a very famous tribe. When I entered the place where Arevik was living it was empty. I was very surprised that Arevik wasn't there and when I asked the owner where the horse is, he replied that Arevik had died in spring. They had burried her in the field. Many children were present. It was a very bright day and the field was full of flowers. When we were coming back we noticed that the view has changed, there were no flowers around it. We turned and saw that all the flowers of the field were on the tomb. The children were crying. When we saw that we understood how much children love Arevik.
I turned to go, I was crying too.
The summer sun was smiling in the sky, like it didn't notice what had happened, or it just didn't care about it.

“Love Declaration”

I really love our neighbor’s daughter Alla. She has such a tender voice that I willy-nilly want to embrace and kiss her all the time. I have made a habit of kissing her curly hair every time she comes to our place. I quit doing my lessons and approach her. She pulls her head back and says.
“Don’t do it!”
No matter how much she resists, she always gives up in the end. I like her innocent look; her clever little eyes most of all. Her smile makes her so beautiful that she resembles an angel come down from the heaven.
It’s two days since they have left and I miss her already. Today is Alla’s second anniversary, but, alas, I can’t even congratulate her on it.

“An Indisputable Advantage”

Yes, it is great to be a girl. Girls can have their hair long unlike boys, who always have short and tousled hair. Girls can wear whatever they want, boys can only wear trousers. Girls are free to wear ear-rings and necklaces. A girl’s work is easier than that of a boy’s. When we went swimming, my brother was always faster than me. He used to jeer at me because of this. My brother told Gor that boys actually swim faster than girls. Whenever there is a difficult job to do, it is left for the boys. Girls are too delicate for that.
Now, you see how nice it is...to be a girl, while you used to say that...

“Stronger Than Love”

I love my father very much, but the sentence “Ashkhen, get up, it’s a quarter to eight”, which my father repeats every morning, makes me think that I don’t like him. Oh, dad, let me sleep a bit more, just five minutes...”
My father says OK and goes to the other room. He comes back after five minutes. These five minutes surely seem just like one moment to me. This goes on for a while. Finally, I get up just when I have only ten minutes to get washed and dressed. This happens every morning. Father’s voice becomes unbearable at such moments, but I like it very much when it’s time to say ‘’Good night’’ when I know there are ten hours ahead to sleep.

“Passing Happiness”

One nice day, my father phoned home and told us, in an annoyed tone, that my brother had broken his hand. All were sadly waiting for my brother's return. As for me, I stood at the door, full of curiosity. They had put my brother's hand in a plaster cast. I wasn't looking at my brother's hand but was peering into his eyes. I was looking for something and I saw it suddenly. My brother's eyes sparkled with happiness: he wouldn't go to school; he'd not have any homework to write. When I returned home the next day, I saw my brother sitting in the corner, talking to no one. I decided not to talk to the hero either. The phone rang at that moment. It was my aunt. Granny started calming her down:
“Thank God there was nothing serious, you know, it wasn't broken at all, we'll take the cast out in a few days.”
I didn't catch the rest of the conversation. My poor brother... how short his happiness was!
